Hi, I'm Tanya

I'm the photographer behind TRPhoto. I knew straight out of high school what I wanted to do, did an art foundation course at NMMU (then Port Elizabeth Technikon), and finished my National Diploma at Tshwane University of Technology (then Technikon Pretoria) in 2007.

Birth and newborns are my favourite things to photograph: anything around new life, and the families that grow around it.

I don't have a studio. I'm an on-location, natural light photographer, so I come to you: your hospital, birth centre or home, anywhere in Joburg and Pretoria.

I'm a wife to a wonderfully supportive husband and a mom to our little one, so I know how much these first moments mean.
